I loved Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park so the much the first time around, I was super stoked to have another friend in town as an excuse to go back!
DID I MENTION ANOTHER ONE OF MY VERY BEST FRIENDS CAME TO VISIT ME FOR TWO WHOLE WEEKS?
Because yep, she did. And we had amazing adventures. KAW KAW RAWR.
Here’s some photographic evidence for our first destination – more to come!
First look at Mount Cook from the banks of Lake Pukaki
Fun skipping stones…
Hooker Valley Track, take 3! (did it twice on the first trip in February, because it was SO AMAZING)
Ascending to the Red Tarns
The beautiful valley
Tasman Glacier and Tasman Glacier Lake
(finding the perfect vantage point…aka excuse to climb on things)
Us with our excitable Kiwi tour guide!
So long until next time, Mount Cook!
And a beautiful field of flowers on the drive home (it must have popped up overnight!)
